we do show you how effective our content is and what we can do
we don’t blind you with science and tell you about all the amazing things we could do
we do ensure that as many people as possible can access the content. That means across platforms and devices
we don’t just show you how good it looks on an iphone and tell you that what you need is an app
did you know that industry figures from July 2011 show that only 27% of phones in the UK are Smartphones, and that of this 27% only 18% are apple devices? All our pages are tested with W3C (a mobile web compliance standard) and score over 90%.
we do keep it simple and effective and stick with text and images
we don’t try to be too clever and do avoid dynamic content - it just isn’t reliable on all devices
we do use QR codes that work – its surprising how many don’t. They need to be the right size and not have too many squares in the grid. If they are too dense they just don’t scan reliably. We also make sure they link to pages that fit well on screen – no need to try scrolling to the bottom right hand corner
we don’t charge the earth for our services. Hosting is pretty cheap these days and whilst there is a certain amount of site maintenance, most of our costs are formatting the content. Making it look right, cropping and scaling images, and testing links takes a bit of time and that’s the bulk of what we charge for
we do consider that content is key and that the client controls the content – we simply format your content and host it. You may not need to do any additional work as you probably have the content already
we don’t see our hosting in competition with your existing web presence and branding. We offer a complementary service that enables content to be generated, posted, linked and updated quickly and avoids the need to redesign your own existing website.
we do offer a range of options for our services. Sure, we can do it all for you, but we can also train you to be able to do it yourself and master the techniques for yourself. Depending on the level at which you currently administrate your own web content there is a range of options to suit individual needs and expertise.
we don’t become the gatekeepers to your content, become evasive or keep our process top secret. Our knowledge and expertise has a commercial value, but we are keen to empower others and enable you to become effective and independant of us - not dependant on us with no choice but to come back to us all the time.
